I don't know how to act
My friends tell me that I don't have any sense, and I fear they may be right. Especially since I just spent the last 45 minutes creating this Adobe Illustrator creation you see below. I could have used the time to work on stories or to sleep, but I choose to make a crude diagram of my upcoming travels.

I've been invited to interview with Texas Teaching Fellows, so I'm going down to Austin this weekend. My traveling arrangements are sort of complex. Let me walk you through them.
As you can tell from the tiny white van and the ensuing line of purple dashes, I'm taking MO-X, an airport shuttle service, to Kansas City where I will take Southwest airlines down to Dallas. Notice the little yellow airplane. Then, my sister and I are driving a rental car four hours down to Austin. It was cheaper to fly into Dallas, and the stop gives me a chance to see my parents. Also, my sister doesn't mind the roadtrip since her boyfriend lives in Austin. In fact, she invited herself. She and her beau are long-distance right now, so she'll make any excuse to drive down to the city.
Am I leaving the field of journalism? No, but I also know I'm not ready for a full-time journalism job yet. I really want to do some more internships before I decide what to do with my life. Lately, I've been dreaming of winning Newbery Awards over Pulitzers. All I know is that I love writing. I just have to figure out how to fit it into my life.
I should go to bed. I have a couple of stories due tomorrow and an interview with a source in a few hours. See? No sense. If you need further proof, check out this completely ridiculous convo between my friend Thalia and me. Jaja, I really don't know how to act.
Good night, everyone!
